The City of Arden Hills encompasses 9.6 square miles with a population of nearly 10,000 residents, 3,200 households and more than 11,000 employees.
Residents are well-educated with nearly 60 percent having earned a bachelor’s degree or graduate-level degree. Median household income for 2016 was approximately $92,000.

The city is partnering with Ramsey County and Alatus LLC to redevelop the former Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP), which consists of 427 acres and is about the size of downtown Saint Paul. The redevelopment will include a mixed-use plan with a town center, variety of housing, office and light industrial development, retail, parks and trails.
