2020 Census

Results of the 2020 Census show Arden Hills has seen growth over the last 10 years. As of April 1, 2020, the city had 3,235 housing units; 3,114 households; and 9,939 people, with an average household size of 2.64 persons. In comparison to the 2010 Census, the city had 3,053 housing units; 2,957 households; and 9,552 people, with an average household size of 2.45 persons. That’s an increase of 387 people living in Arden Hills. Results also show growing diversity, with BIPOC (Black/Indigenous/People of color) residents making up 20.3% of the population in 2020 versus 11.3% in 2010.
