Beige single-family two story home in Arden Hills in the wintertime

Housing Options

The city's residential neighborhoods are predominantly developed with single-family homes on large, often wooded, lots. The topography of the city with its many lakes, wetlands and natural areas has created pockets of distinct neighborhoods lying between swaths of open space.

In addition to single-family homes, the city is also home to the Park Shore, Arden Flats and E Street Flats Apartments; the Hunters Park condominium building; and the Arden Manor manufactured housing community.

Cottage Villas and the Presbyterian Homes' Johanna Shores offer independent and assisted living senior residential units.

The City has a Rental Registration program for renter-occupied properties.
