Main duties
The Economic Development Authority (EDA) is the focal point for economic development in the City. The EDA has legal authority to operate public facilities, be a limited partner in economic development activities, and to buy, sell, and lease land for economic development purposes.
Membership
The City Council as well as two members appointed from the City's Economic Development Commission (EDC) make up the membership of the EDA. The EDA meets when discussing issues related to economic development and development finance.
