Clean-up Day
2023 FALL CLEAN-UP DAY WAS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7
The annual Fall Clean-up Day was held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Recycle Technologies located at 1525 99th Lane NE in Blaine. See below for a map of the location.
Arden Hills residents (ID required) are able to drop off refuse and electronics for a fee. A coupon will be included here as well as published in the City's August/September newsletter. The coupon is only valid if residents present a digital or printed copy at checkout—contact Recycle Technologies at 763-559-5130 for current item pricing.
Items Accepted:
- Electronics (TVs, computers, printers, etc.)
- Computer hard drives (for shredding)
- Appliances
- Tires
- Water softeners
- BBQ grills
- Batteries
- Fluorescent lamps
- Mattresses
- Lawnmowers*
- Snow blowers*
- Scrap metal
- Paper shredding
- Vacuum cleaners
- Bicycles
*If an item has oil or gasoline, it must be drained, or it will not be accepted. Used oil and gasoline can be disposed of at the Ramsey County Household Hazardous Waste site at 5 Empire Drive in Saint Paul, Tuesdays–Fridays from 11 a.m.–6 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Items NOT Accepted:
- No brush/yard waste
- No railroad ties
- No plastic, cardboard, Styrofoam, or wood
- No oversized items such as hot tubs, boats, or sheds
- No engines containing gasoline or oil
- No carpet
- No furniture

NOTE: Ramsey County has partnered with Repowered (formerly Tech Dump and Tech Discounts) to provide free electronics recycling for residents. This is a separate service from Clean-up Day. We recommend you use Repowered to recycle unwanted electronics and the Clean-up Day coupon to recycle two other non-electronic items. Repowered is located at 860 Vandalia Street in St. Paul. Repowered may not accept all electronic items, so please check their website for a list of items they recycle.
