Reducing waste, reusing items, and recycling are three important steps anyone can take to minimize waste and protect our environment.

Garbage Collection Services

Garbage collection is provided by licensed haulers. Residents may choose a garbage hauler from a list of Licensed haulers in the City (PDF).

Residential properties South of Interstate 694 will receive collection services on Tuesdays; properties North of Interstate 694 will receive collection services on Wednesdays.

Recycling and Alternative Disposal

For more information on what to recycle and where to get rid of other items, please visit the City's Recycling webpage, RamseyRecycles.com, or call 651-633-EASY (3279). This hotline is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and interpretive services are available.
