The City of Arden Hills began a two-year licensing program for all city dogs and cats back in January of 2001, and will continue the practice of licensing on a two-year basis. Licenses are required for all dogs and cats more than three months of age, being kept or owned in the city. A copy of the Certification of Rabies Vaccination from your veterinarian showing the date that the rabies shot will expire must accompany this application in order for your pet(s) to be registered.

Note: City ordinance requires the animal owner to place a sign on the property (not in the right of way) indicating the existence of a pet containment system.
The pet license period runs two years (2019-2020). The fee for a full two-year license is $30.00. This fee will be reduced to $15.00 if the license is acquired during the second year of the licensing period (2020). Payment should be paid by using “Bill Pay” on this website or by mail. A tag will be mailed to you upon receipt of a correctly completed application and payment.
