[ARCHIVED] City Opens Park Shelter/Pavilion Rentals and Garage Sale Permits; Solicitor Permits Remain Suspended

Perry Park Pavilion

Last spring, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Council suspended garage sales, soliciting, and all park shelter and pavilion rentals in the City. In late summer/early fall, the City Council revisited its earlier decision and lifted the suspension on garage sales and park shelter rentals. At its March 15, 2021 work session, City Council lifted the suspension of park pavilion rentals. Door-to-door soliciting remains suspended until July 1, 2021.

  • Garage sales are allowed in Arden Hills. Please submit a Garage Sale Application Permit for your garage or yard sale. For questions concerning garage sales, call City Hall at 651-792-7800.
  • Park shelter and park pavilion rentals are now allowed. Please fill out a Facilities Rental Application to secure a reservation, or call 651-792-7848 for more information about renting park facilities. Residents should check with Ramsey County on Tony Schmidt Regional Park and Lake Josephine County Park rentals by calling 651-748-2500. City Hall is closed to the public due to COVID-19 and meeting room rentals are not available.
  • Door-to-door soliciting remains suspended until July 1, 2021. If you see someone in the neighborhood who is going door-to-door, please call the City Clerk at 651-792-7811 or the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office at 9-1-1 to report it.
