Public Works (includes Parks & Recreation)

The Public Works Department is responsible for parks, recreation and the general maintenance of the street, water and sewer systems in Arden Hills. The Public Works Director and Public Works Superintendent oversee a variety of activities including: park maintenance; snow plowing; pot hole filling; crack sealing; cleaning of sanitary sewer lines; Gopher State One-Call locations; and a variety of other items. The Parks and Recreation Manager is responsible for the planning and development of city parks and recreation facilities, as well as the management of recreation programs, community events and recreation staff.
