[ARCHIVED] Lexington Avenue Construction Update

Ramsey County logo on white background

Lexington Avenue is being reconstructed from County Road E to I-694 in the cities of Arden Hills and Shoreview by Ramsey County. Please contact Ramsey County with any questions or concerns.

Lexington Avenue is currently closed to all northbound traffic with one lane open to southbound traffic from 694 to County Road E.

This configuration will remain in place for approximately two months and is scheduled to last through late June. In the meantime, a signed detour is in place using County Road E, Victoria Street, and I-694.

Beginning June 15, the ramp from Lexington Avenue leading to Eastbound I-694 will be closed for concrete and signal improvements.

This closure will last up to 14 days, weather permitting. Ramsey County’s project webpage will be updated soon with the latest information about this change with potential detour routes. The project corridor is pictured below, with the upcoming June 15 ramp closure denoted in light blue.

Lexington Reconstruction RC-ramp closure-01Businesses along the project corridor will continue to remain open during all construction activities.
All access to businesses and residencies has been maintained. Ramsey County has placed “Business Access” signs on Red Fox Rd and the Target access road.

Plan for delays and use alternate routes when possible. To learn more or to sign up for project alerts, please visit Ramsey County's project page
