  1. Friends of the Parks Annual Tree Sale Begins

    February 1, 2019 - April 19, 2019

    Friends of the Parks and Trails of Saint Paul and Ramsey County offers plants for yards or balconies as well as the opportunity to donate trees to parks throughout the entire metropolitan area. The sale will go live online February 1, 2019. The order deadline is April 19 and you’ll pick up your great stuff Saturday, May 4, 9:00am to 1:00pm at 2015 Van Dyke in Maplewood. For the first time ever, they are offering a perennial in addition to the usual offerings of trees and shrubs. Native liatris, or blazing star as it’s commonly known, is a favorite of monarch butterflies and other pollinators. Additionally, they have blueberries, currants, plum, redbud, maple, elm, blue spruce, lilac, hydrangea, clematis, mock orange and more.

    Whether you're a beginner, longtime practitioner or gym yogi wanting to experience a meditative style, these classes provide a comprehensive work-out and work-in! Her original style draws from a life well-traveled, blending classical yoga with the latest best practices. High levels of customization and personal attention give you the confidence to explore the mind-body connection on a deeper level--something you can't do in a crowd with music and mirrors. Bring a sense of humor, an open mind, and a yoga mat if you have one.
