Recycle Your Holiday Lights

Holiday Lights Recycling

Do you have strings of holiday lights that no longer work? Perhaps you’re switching to energy efficient LED lights this year. Recycle holiday lights by dropping them off at our collection bin located outside the main entrance at Arden Hills City Hall, 1245 Highway 96 W in Arden Hills from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Holiday lights will be accepted until Friday, January 29, 2021.

Do not put holiday lights in your curbside recycling bin. Non-LED holiday lights may be placed in the trash. All types of holiday lights (including LED) can be brought to the Ramsey County household hazardous waste collection site at 5 Empire Dr. in St. Paul on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Remove battery packs or electronics, if applicable. Consider donating holiday lights in good, working condition to Goodwill Easter Seals. For more information, visit RamseyRecycles.com/hhw.
