As part of the I-35W North MnPass project, on Monday night, July 15, the I-35W southbound traffic between Co. Rd. 96 and Co. Rd. 88 will shift to the northbound lanes.
At that point all southbound traffic throughout the entire project area, between Sunset Ave. and Co. Rd. C, will remain on the northbound lanes until November 2019.
As part of the Hwy 10 Arden Hills project, MnDOT will close the ramp from EB Hwy 10 to Ramsey Co. Rd. 96 early Monday morning, July 15 to begin rebuilding the ramp. During the closure, drivers will need to go south on I-35W to reach Co. Rd. 96.
The ramp is expected to reopen by Wed, July 24.
As you may already know, the ramp from southbound I-35W to EB Hwy 10 closed Monday morning, July 8. Crews are rebuilding the ramp to accommodate an additional lane of traffic on the bridge over the interstate.
During the closure, you’ll need to follow the signed detour by continuing south on I-35W to reach EB I-694 or use the Co. Rd. H exit to the Co. Rd. 10 ramp to reach businesses and homes along eastbound Hwy 10.
Note: There is no access to EB Hwy 10 from westbound Hwy 10 or from Co. Rd. 96.
The ramp is expected to reopen by the end of July at which time the ramp from Co. Rd. 10 to Hwy 10 will close for about a month.
