Garbage & Recycling

Minimizing Waste & Protecting Our Environment
Reducing waste, reusing items and recycling are three important steps anyone can take to minimize waste and protect our environment.

Recycling or Disposal Questions
For more information on what to recycle and where to get rid of other items please visit RamseyRecycles.com or call 651-633-EASY (3279).  This hotline is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and interpretive services are available.

Curbside Recycling
The City of Arden Hills contracts with Republic Services to provide weekly curbside recycling service to single family through four-plex residential homes, including townhomes. There is no need to sign up for curbside recycling service. Just bring your bin to the curb.

All apartment and multi-unit building owners and managers are required to provide a recycling collection program for tenants. Talk to your hauler about recycling collection.

Garbage Collection Services
Garbage collection is provided by licensed haulers. Residents may choose a garbage hauler from the list of licensed haulers in the City.
