Absentee & Early Voting
Absentee Voting

You can vote early by using an absentee ballot, instead of voting in person at the polling place on Election Day.

Absentee Ballot Application

To request an absentee ballot, fill out an online absentee ballot application. Please submit your application no later than 2:00 p.m. on the Friday before Election Day, to ensure adequate time for the ballot to reach you and for you to return it.

When you receive the ballot, complete it and mail it to:

Ramsey County Elections
PO Box 64098
St. Paul, MN 55164-0098

If you choose not to mail your absentee ballot, you can bring it to City Hall.

2018 Primary Election Absentee ballots will be accepted at City Hall June 29 to August 6

Visit during normal office hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

2018 General Election Absentee ballots will be accepted at City Hall September 21 to October 29.

Early Voting

Early voting will not be conducted this year at City Hall. Ramsey County residents can vote at any of the satellite locations during this time.
