Hwy 10 Construct a third lane on Hwy 10 between I-35W and Co Rd 96

County Road F from Hamline Avenue to Lexington Avenue will be reconstructed this summer. The project includes installation of a traffic signal at Innovation Way. Traffic will be detoured during the construction.

County Road I Ramsey County is working with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and the cities of Arden Hills and Shoreview to construct improvements on County Road I near Rice Creek Parkway and Old Highway 8. Construction will resume June 11 with work to complete final roadway striping and sidewalks and trails.

The 2017 improvements included a roundabout, trail access, raised medians, new road shoulders and a new roadway which will enhance safety and access to the developing Rice Creek Commons.

Highway 96 from Snelling Avenue to Highway 61 will include traffic signal and pedestrian ramp maintenance throughout the corridor. Temporary lane closures will occur. An update for Highway 96 was published July 23.

Highway 96 traffic signal work
Work begins Monday, July 23 to replace traffic signal control units on Highway 96. The new controls will support flashing yellow left turn lights.

Crews will work on one signal at a time. Each signal is expected to take one day to complete. It will take about four weeks to complete all signals.

Traffic impacts

Signals will be non-operational on the day(s) their controls are replaced. Intersections will be signed as all-way stops and law enforcement officers will assist with traffic control during rush hours. Lane restrictions may be in place.

Please plan ahead for delays and use alternate routes when possible to reduce congestion.

Schedule
Work will begin with the signal at Hamline Avenue and move east. Crews will work on the following signals the week of July 23:
Hamline Avenue – Monday, July 23.
Lexington Avenue – Tuesday, July 24.
Victoria Street – Wednesday, July 25.
Snail Lake Boulevard – Thursday, July 26.
