Lake Johanna Fire Station No. 1
Journey Home Minnesota has proposed a redevelopment plan for the former Lake Johanna Fire Station No.1 property at 3246 New Brighton Road. The proposal calls for the removal of the fire station building and garage, and the subdivision of the property for four single-family residential lots. Journey Home is a local non-profit organization with a mission to create affordable housing for military veteran families. The development plans can be viewed here.

The Planning Commission held a public hearing on the proposal on April 4th at City Hall and recommended approval. It will come before the City Council for review at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 23rd.

Marriott Springhill Suites
The City Council approved a proposal from Hawkeye Hotels for the development of a Marriott Springhill Suites at 3920 Northwoods Drive in September 2017. The hotel will include 139 guest rooms. Site work began in fall 2017 and the developer expects to begin construction in spring 2018.

Lexington Station
Our Mayor, City Council and staff broke ground on April 5 with Nick Roberts, Roberts Management Group staff, incoming tenants, contractors, architects, and engineers for Lexington Station Phase Two. 

Incoming tenants to date include Jimmy John's, Club Pilates, Orchid, Pancheros, Pet Evolution, and State Farm.

Phase Two of the Lexington Station redevelopment at the southwest corner of Lexington Avenue and Red Fox Road will include the construction of a new 17,000 square foot multi-tenant retail and office building. An additional 155 parking stalls will be constructed as part of Phase Two. Roberts Management anticipates construction on the Phase Two building will be completed in 2018.

The City Council approved an amendment to the Lexington Station Master Plan in April 2017. Phase Three of the project will include the redevelopment of 3771 Lexington Avenue for a 15,200 square foot multi-tenant building on Lexington Avenue and a 17,800 square foot retail building at the southwest corner of the site.

Health Partners Medical Clinic
The City Council approved an 8,500 square foot addition to the Health Partners Clinic located at 3930 Northwoods Drive in May 2017. The proposed expansion will allow for additional primary care providers to be added to the site, as well as specialty medical providers that are not currently located at the Arden Hills clinic. Construction on the addition began in the summer of 2017 and is expected to be completed in 2018.

Land O'Lakes
Land O’Lakes received approvals from the City in July 2016 to complete a major expansion on its headquarters campus at Lexington Avenue and County Road F. The project includes the construction of a new four-story, approximately 155,000 gross square foot office building. Work on the project is currently underway and is expected to be completed in spring 2018.
