Karth Lake Improvement District
Main Duties
  • Manage the lake water level
  • Monitor the lake water quality
  • Maintenance of public beaches, docks, and other public facilities for access to the Karth Lake

The Karth Lake Improvement District Board may meet the second Tuesday of April, July, October, and December of each year.  They must meet at least once per year at their April meeting.

The Karth Lake Improvement District Board consists of seven members elected by owners of property within the district. The board then votes to select their chairperson. The Karth Lake Improvement District currently includes the following members:
  • Tony Peleska (Chair), Term Expiration April 2018 
  • Gary Gerding (Secretary), Term Expiration April 2016 
  • Linda Hansohn, Term Expiration April 2017 
  • Kathy Johnson, Term Expiration April 2017
  • Susan Johnson, Term Expiration April 2016          
  • Aisha A. Elmquist, Term Expiration April 2018

  • Sue Polka, Public Works Director/City Engineer (Staff Liaison)
